Movers in Signal Hill
A small city surrounded by Long Beach, with hilltop views, steep streets and plenty of townhomes and condos. The hill is the part we plan for.
Moving on the hill
Signal Hill rises above the rest of Long Beach, and the streets climbing to the top are steep. Many homes on the hill are newer townhomes and condos with garages below and living space on two or three floors above. That combination of grade and interior stairs shapes how we plan the move.
- Steep streets and driveways. Truck placement and secure loading on a grade come first.
- Multi-level townhomes. Interior stairs at one or both ends add time, so we count them in the estimate.
- HOA rules. Many complexes have move-in hours, guest parking rules or gate access. Check with your HOA.
- Heavy items on stairs. Straps, the right dollies and enough crew for dressers, sofas and appliances.
Flatter parts of Signal Hill
Not all of Signal Hill is steep. Homes and apartments on the lower, flatter streets toward Cherry Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway move like most Long Beach homes. We'll tell you what to expect for your exact address.
Close to everything
Signal Hill sits just minutes from Downtown and Bixby Knolls, so most moves to and from the hill are short in distance. The estimate is about access and stairs, not mileage.
